I’ve been making ceramics in some form almost as long as I’ve been shooting. Growing up, my grandmother had a kiln and I passed many an afternoon at her kitchen table making pieces. I still have a chess set I treasure that was a collaboration between my grandparents and I; Grandma and I making the knights and pawns and my grandfather (a carpenter and photographer) customizing the board to match the colors in the set, a vibrant teal and blue. My work these days is a combination of handbuilt and wheel thrown in my studio in Red Hook, with my pup by my side. Some pieces on offer below, always happy to make any on commission.

This one has so much funk, it’s real joy to behold. And curves for days. He’s just begging to hold the zinnias you just plucked from your garden. I’ll miss her when she leaves me, but so glad to see her go to a good home.
