I’ve been making ceramics in some form almost as long as I’ve been shooting. Growing up, my grandmother had a kiln and I passed many an afternoon at her kitchen table making pieces. I still have a chess set I treasure that was a collaboration between my grandparents and I; Grandma and I making the knights and pawns and my grandfather (a carpenter and photographer) customizing the board to match the colors in the set, a vibrant teal and blue. My work these days is a combination of handbuilt and wheel thrown in my studio in Red Hook, with my pup by my side. Some pieces on offer below, always happy to make any on commission.

A bulbous vase of sorts, another day of playing in clay, and then painted and fired. An excellent slender neck to keep your flower stems close, so the petals can drape out the top.
